| Forehead Lines |
|
These include the vertical frown lines between the eyes and the horizontal lines running from side to side across the whole brow.
These horizontal lines form initially only with muscle activity of the large “frontalis” forehead muscle (so called “dynamic lines”) but later become permanently imprinted leaving an aged troubled looking forehead. Skillful Botox injection into the forehead muscles can prevent the formation of the dynamic lines/wrinkles and thus also prevent permanent imprinting, if started young enough and regularly maintained. Permanent lines need to be filled out with tissue filler injections and this is best combined with Botox. At TLC we do not favour creating a frozen-looking forehead that is incapable of movement. Excessive Botox use to the forehead can cause inadvertent lowering of the eyebrows which is very detrimental to female facial appearance. Skilled Botox administration by an experienced injector is very important in this area so choose your Aesthetic Physician well |
